Usually people start their travelogue from the first day of their trip/tour/travel. However, I am starting this travelogue from the middle of my travel The reason is, out of the 42 persons who were in our group, everyone except six of us were to return on the morning of 22nd itself from Paro, Bhutan to India. Only the six of us had plans to stay back in Bhutan on September 22nd also. So, if I post the travelogue of 22nd Sept first, our friends who were not able to visit those places will also be able to know more about those places, won’t they? That is why I am creating the travelogue of that day first. So shall we start? Our friends were returning to Kolkotta by the 10.30 am flight from Paro, on 22nd morning. So those who were from Kerala and outside Kerala had their breakfast and got ready to go to the airport by 8 am or so. Our three friends from Manipur and their family were planning to go via road from Paro to Phuentsholing, and then via Jaigon to Manipur. After seeing off all those who were leaving on that day, the six of us had breakfast, and started at around 9.30 am for the day’s sight seeing. Soon after we started from the hotel we cross this bridge, and we can see Paro river flowing! Look, there is a calf standing in the middle of the road! When it saw our van coming, look how it is running away! Soon after we cross the bridge and get back into the road, we can see the Paro river flowing parallel to the road. The water is flowing with great force. Our tourist guide, Phatta Singh Ghallui is really superb. He said he will take us to Tiger’s Nest base point to do some shopping. Because the previous day it was raining heavily, so much so that leave alone shopping, we couldn’t do the sight seeing also properly. That was the day some of us went to Tiger’s nest and the others to Che lela Pass.
